Hi all,

Since a couple of weeks I can no longer see the forum in gigapedia.com. Books are still being posted but no discussion area is available...

Also an important site for e-book lovers I would like to know what happened to Smiley and the rest of the gang.

Any clues?

Thanks,

Eric

The discussion page is there. Could be just a system hiccup.

Thanks Wayne for the quick feedback.

However, it doesn't look like a system hiccup.

I can't access the discussion area. As a matter of fact I don't even see it on the welcome page after login.

Maybe the discussion area has been restricted to certain user classes?

My account at gigapedia is nothing but a regular one.

Can you see anything in this url?

Thanks again Wayne,

Unfortunately what I get when I click that link is:

"you are not authorized to use this resource"

So, if you can and I can't something must be different between our accounts - mine is also a regular one.

As I haven't done anything against the rules of the site (gigapedia.com/rules) I can't understand why I can't access the discussion area anymore...

So, I'm still puzzled at this behavior.

Eric

Anything unusual on this page?

If everything looks fine, then you probably need to ask their staff.

Quoting gigapedia's founder smiley from a discussion topic (titled: okie some changes) :

Quote

... were in a middle of reorganizing the site:

* discussions forum is now for regular+ users only

* front page will link to important articles from the wiki, users should have no excuse to miss the rules of the site and how to help the site grow ....

@Eric.Ule .......... maybe your user level is "newbie" and not "regular" ?
